Hope in the Heartache
If you are in a dark place right now, I am here to encourage you that there is hope. There is healing. Whether you are heartbroken because of suffering, loss, or if your life has fallen apart because of your own doing, I want to remind you that this is not your home. This season of loss and brokenness is temporary. It is not meant to be a place where you stay forever.
You see, even in our worst circumstances including loss, suffering, or our own poor choices, God has given us hope. Even if it’s dark right now, it will not be dark forever. God wants you to know that He loves you, He sees you, He hears you, He is for you, and He is with You. When you call on Him, He will answer. He will always show up when you need Him. He will never leave or forsake you.
I urge you today, even if you can’t feel it now, to believe in the hope of Christ. He has GOOD plans for you and wants to rewrite your story with His restoration, freedom, joy, and hope. He wants to use our worst circumstances and failures for our good and his glory (Romans 8:28).
If you feel you are too far gone to be restored, I want you to know that is an outright lie from the enemy. You are not too far gone and if you are still breathing and present here, God is still doing work in your life. Nothing or no one is too far gone for God. He is in the business of bringing beauty from ashes and joy from sorrow. His grace is sufficient for all your needs, no matter what you have done or where you are today.
So rise up, friend. Call out to God. You were not meant to live in the darkness forever. Even though this season may be dark, God is with you and is working in your life. He has a plan for your restoration, healing, and hope. He wants you to have life and have it to the full.
You can take hold of His gentle and mighty hand today. When you choose to follow Him, He will pull you out from the dark pit with his compassion and kindness. He will restore your life and heal you. He will make you whole again.
